PLANNING APPLICATIONS
Q. If my Planning application is subject to a public hearing, am I required to attend it?
A. You aren't required, but it's highly recommended that you attend in the event Council has questions. If Council has questions and no representative is present, they may table your item until more information can be received. Most municipalities have a virtual attendance option if needed; please contact your respective municipality for more details.
Q. What's the approximate timeline for Planning applications to be read by Council?
A. Timelines vary depending on the type of application, the volume of applications we have, and Council meeting dates for that municipality. Generally Planning applications in the summer have a longer turnaround time.
